According to tax regulations, a donation is treated as a gift. This means that none of your donation goes to the tax authorities (as long as you don’t donate more than €2,769 per year - approximately $3.250). Unfortunately, ELISHA does not yet have ANBI status (i.e. PBO status), so you won’t receive a tax deduction for your donation. But thankfully, nowhere in the Bible does it say that we should support ministries just to get tax benefits.

Your donation will be used solely to support the work of ELISHA. This means that:

• First, donations are used exclusively to cover annual fixed costs (such as website expenses, software subscriptions, etc.).
• Once these fixed costs are covered, donations are used
  • To organize and facilitate other activities (such as Rise Up Events, travel expenses, and equipment costs)
  • And 10 to a maximum of 50% is used to compensate Prophet Roelof Meijer for his work, with a maximum amount comparable to the net income of a starting pastor in the Netherlands (€2,000 - approximately $ 2,350), based on his level of education and his responsibility for starting and leading this movement of God.

Roelof works full-time on establishing, organizing, and expanding this movement of God. This means he needs financial support from the movement to continue this work, because, like everyone else, he simply has to pay his bills.

Although Roelof deserves to be compensated for his work, the movement’s needs will take priority. This means he will only be compensated once fixed costs are covered. It also means that any remaining donations will first be used to fund (planned) activities before any funds are allocated to him.

The maximum compensation is based on Roelof's organizational and managerial responsibilities, as well as his degrees:

• Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering
• Associate Degree in Modern Business Administration
• Master of Arts in Theology

Donations will always be used to support the work of ELISHA. Therefore, fixed costs will be covered first. After that, other activity costs, travel expenses, and Roelof’s compensation will be paid. If any funds remain after this, they will be set aside to cover future costs and expand ELISHA’s work (for example, covering the costs for a PBO status - approximately $900-1,500).
