It had been on my heart for a while (Prophet Roelof Meijer). While praying, it came to mind again. The feeling was so strong that I decided to share God’s words with my pastor, Pastor Popoola.
As is often the case with prophecy, as I shared God’s words, more words came to me. That’s because the inspiration of the Spirit sometimes calls for stepping out, and once there’s movement (in the flow of words), more naturally follows. That’s exactly what happened at that moment. As I’m typing out God’s words via WhatsApp, even more words are coming. While sending this is already a bit nerve-wracking, it’s even more nerve-wracking to wonder how someone will react.
Of course, I often know when something comes from God or not, but that doesn’t mean everyone receives it that way. Moreover, not everyone is accustomed to prophecies and such manifestations. Fortunately, it wasn’t too bad this time. In fact, the response was actually very encouraging!
While some Christians unfortunately condemn prophecy, here it was actually confirmed. Popoola confirmed the prophecy with the words, “That is in accordance with what the Lord has already been speaking to me and my wife.”
How awesome is that?! God doesn’t just speak through prophets, but He does work together with prophets to encourage one another and confirm His will. Hallelujah!
